Request for proposals
MHAI is seeking proposals reflecting children's mental health projects for any age from birth to transition age youth. The purpose of the funding is to promote the month of May as Children's Mental Health Month and encourage communities to plan an activity during the spring months of calendar year 2018.
These funds are to facilitate public education and collaboration among community agencies around children's mental health to promote mental health and substance abuse awareness while reducing stigma.
Funding for each application must range from $1,000 to a maximum of $3,000. MHAI anticipates funding a minimum of 8 and up to 24 projects. All private and not-for-profit organizations are eligible to apply.
Applications are to be submitted electronically and must be received by November 13, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. EST. For complete details, visit www.mhai.net
to download the application.
Funding to support these projects is made possible by a grant from the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration, Division of Mental Health and Addiction, Child and Adolescent Services Bureau. Note: All funding determinations for this funding announcement are made pending allocation of funding to MHAI. Projects may be eliminated or receive a reduced budget if program funds are reduced or are otherwise not available to MHAI.
