Position Description

Midwest Ear Institute is a private subspecialty clinic handling all aspects of ear disease for all age ranges. We are a niche practice as there are only three private practice neurotology physicians in the city. Our physician primarily sees ear problems related to infections, hearing loss of all types, balance disorders, and a small amount of trauma related injuries. Complexities can range from straight forward cerumen impaction to skull-base tumors. Problems are treated medically or surgically depending on the pathology.

Our practice is seeking a Nurse Practitioner with advanced education and training in the care of adult populations, who has prescriptive authority to assist a physician in a busy subspecialty practice. The NP would be responsible for evaluating and treating their own patients independent of the neurotologist, as well as assisting in the intake of new patients.

This position involves travel between our offices at 75th & Shadeland and across from St. Vincent Hospital on West 86th St (mileage paid).  Work schedule will be approximately 7:30-4:30 Monday thru Friday.  A full-time schedule is preferred, but we would consider a part-time position for the right candidate.

Job Requirements:

  • Current Indiana License (RN)
  • 2+ years experience in the healthcare field, ENT preferred
  • Experience with EHR and E-prescribing

Compensation:

  • Commensurate with experience; includes fringe benefit package including PTO, paid malpractice insurance, and 401(k) program

Please send resume with cover letter discussing your clinical experience to:
