Advocacy Day at the Indiana State House is an event that brings APRN’s and state legislators together. It provides you with an opportunity to meet with your state Senator and state Representative to discuss heath care issues that affect your patients and your practice. The main focus of Advocacy Day 2019 is to promote legislation that will make Indiana a Full Practice Authority state. This will be accomplished by retiring the outdated practice contract requirement to prescribe. Attendees will receive guidance and support prior to and during their legislator meetings.
Dress code for this event is business attire with a white lab coat. Lunch will be provided. Registration is open to CAPNI members and is free. We request that registered attendees, please notify us if they need to cancel, as registration is limited.
